Para controlar la eficacia de las medidas de control de al\u00e9rgenos en animales de laboratorio o para determinar la exposici\u00f3n laboral de los trabajadores de laboratorio, EMSL ofrece an\u00e1lisis del aire para detectar la exposici\u00f3n a al\u00e9rgenos animales. Se estima que hasta 20\u00b9\u00b2\u00b3 personas que trabajan con animales de laboratorio experimentan s\u00edntomas al\u00e9rgicos, y que aproximadamente 10\u00b9\u00b2\u00b3 desarrollar\u00e1n s\u00edntomas graves de asma.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Procedimiento de muestreo: <\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  1. Utilizando una bomba de muestreo de bajo volumen, tome muestras del entorno de trabajo con un casete de 37 mm que contenga un filtro de fibra de vidrio de 1,0 micras o un filtro MCE de 0,8 micras.<\/li>
  2. El tiempo de recolecci\u00f3n debe ser de 1,5 a 2,5 litros por minuto y el tiempo de muestreo debe ser de cuatro (4) a ocho (8) horas. (Tenga en cuenta que el tiempo debe estar en minutos para la cadena de custodia).<\/li>
  3. Etiquete cada casete de muestra con el nombre del lugar y la fecha\/hora en que se tom\u00f3 la muestra.<\/li>
  4. Utilice el formulario de cadena de custodia de EMSL Microbiology y compl\u00e9telo con la informaci\u00f3n de facturaci\u00f3n e informes solicitada. Para cada muestra recolectada, incluya el n\u00famero de muestra, la ubicaci\u00f3n, la matriz (aire), el c\u00f3digo de prueba (ver m\u00e1s abajo), el volumen total recolectado en minutos (por ejemplo, 1.8 LPM x 240 minutos = 432 LPM) y la fecha y hora de recolecci\u00f3n.
