En 2016, la FDA (Food and Drug Administration) am\u00e9ricaine a publi\u00e9 la version finale de la r\u00e9glementation relative \u00e0 l'\u00e9tiquetage nutritionnel, bas\u00e9e sur des donn\u00e9es scientifiques actualis\u00e9es concernant le lien entre l'alimentation et les maladies chroniques. La date limite de mise en conformit\u00e9 \u00e9tait le 1er janvier 2020 pour les fabricants r\u00e9alisant un chiffre d'affaires annuel de 10 millions de dollars ou plus. Les fabricants dont le chiffre d'affaires annuel est inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 10 millions de dollars doivent se conformer \u00e0 cette r\u00e9glementation au plus tard le 1er janvier 2021.   • La section \u2018 Calories provenant des mati\u00e8res grasses \u2019 a \u00e9t\u00e9 supprim\u00e9e et les \u2018 Sucres ajout\u00e9s \u2019 doivent \u00eatre indiqu\u00e9s en pourcentage de la valeur quotidienne (%D.V.).<\/li>
  • La vitamine D et le potassium ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9s \u00e0 la place des vitamines A et C, qui restent des nutriments \u00e0 mentionner \u00e0 titre facultatif.<\/li>
