TO-15 Lab Bulk Off-Gassing Price Guide and FAQ
- Bulk Off-gassing prices include analysis for VOCs via TO-15 and include a library search. If clients want to add more tests on the off-gassed product (Sulfur scan etc.) that analytical price is added to the base pricing.
- All Off-gassing studies include a background sample in the costs. The 1st sample price is higher to reflect the additional prepping and reporting of the background sample. Please see EMSL document “Investigation Procedures for Volatile Organic Compounds” for the reason for analyzing and application of using the background sample.
- Please note 1 day TAT is not available for off-gassing projects, samples are off-gassed for 24 hours unless otherwise negotiated in advance.
For smaller pieces, approximately 3”x3” in any direction, we will use jars with micro-QT fittings as mini chambers. For some projects we may elect to use Tedlar bags if it seems a better fit for the submitted sample.
Humidity cannot be adjusted but temperature can be controlled when using bags or jars. If your client requires a temperature adjustment for the off-gassing period, please ask them to indicate that temperature or strategy on the Chain of Custody so we know how to proceed immediately.
