Buck LP5 Pump Sampling Guide
All rental pumps have been calibrated to proper flow rate
Please use these steps to check flow rate in field
Turn on pump
- Press power button on left side
- Screen will turn on showing below screen
(This is Main Menu Screen)
Set flow rate
- Press down arrow under Menu for Flow Mode
- Hold set and up/down arrows at same time to adjust flow to desired flow rate
Calibrating pump
- Press down arrow until Calibration Mode is displayed
- Connect sample train with media to pump and rotameter
- Press set once to activate pump flow – Flow rate will be displayed on rotameter
- Hold set and up/down arrows at same time to adjust flow to desired flow rate displayed on rotameter
- Press power button once desired flow is set. Pump will return to Main Menu
Running pump for sampling
- Make sure sampling train is setup with desired media
- Press up arrow below the Run option to start sampling
- Elapsed time and Volumetric screen will show as pump is running
Turning off pump
- Hold power button to stop pump from running
- Hold power button again for 5 seconds to turn off pump
Resetting pump run time to Zero
(this will clear the amount of minutes the pump was running)
- Press down arrow until Reset Mode appears
- Hold set and press down arrow 2 times
Quick Tips
- Pressing power button will take you back to Main Menu screen
- Main Menu shows battery level and allows you to select Run to start sampling
- Media must be connected while sampling or pump will turn off and show No Filter
- Pump must be in Run mode while sampling or will automatically shut of
